The Leaders in Training (LIT) program is designed for youth aged 13 to 17 to develop leadership skills and gain practical experience by assisting with children’s recreation programs. Participants support City of Edmonton recreation leaders in running summer programs such as the Green Shack Playground Program and various day camps. The program includes comprehensive training sessions covering topics like behavior management, program planning, and communication skills.
